Relaxed Performances

Relaxed Performances are for everyone. For our December 9 performance of The Snowman and Friends,  Orchestra Toronto is making a few changes to how we present our concert, to welcome audience members who may benefit from a more relaxed experience, including people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

The music will be the same great Orchestra Toronto music that our audiences love! We want everyone to enjoy our music in the best way for them to do so.

We will be a little more careful about sudden changes in dynamics (how loud the music is). We will providing a relaxation space, and keep the doors to the Recital Hall open, so that audience members can take a break or enjoy the performance on video monitors outside the Recital Hall.

We welcome audience members to use their devices on silent, or to bring a quiet toy to help them feel grounded and enjoy the performance.

Finally, if you feel that you might benefit from a tour of the performance space before the performance, we invite you to get in touch to arrange a visit. Please phone 416-467-7142 or email us to arrange a visit.
